Owners
The owners of CHARME CLINIQUE – dentists Barbara Ciepielewska and Zbigniew Klimek – have been friends since the time of their studies at the Medical University of Warsaw. They worked together for more than ten years at the Outpatient Clinic of PLL LOT airlines. At that time, it was one of the best equipped clinics in Warsaw, where the best materials were used. This means that even at the beginning of their careers they were able to treat patients at a level much higher than that possible at the state-owned clinics of the time.
Along with their work at PLL LOT, both Dr Ciepielewska and Dr Klimek ran their private dental practices and were active members of the dentists’ environment.
For 17 years, Doctor Ciepielewska managed the Dentistry Department at the LIM Medical Centre, in her last years there as its CEO. Besides continuous education in dentistry, she was awarded the Advanced Certificate in Marketing by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and graduated from the University of Łódź with a postgraduate degree in Company Marketing Management . She was a member of the Management Board of the Association of Polish Dentists, organising many international dentists’ conferences in that time. She also used to lecture about the organisation of work in a dentist’s surgery in accordance with binding EU procedures.
Doctor Klimek has been running private practice since 1980, mainly devoted to dental prosthetics. As well as his professional work, Mr Klimek has actively participated in the life of the professional corporation as a:
- member of the Regional Medical Council in the years 1989–1993,
- member of the Executive Board of the Supreme Medical Council’s Legislative Commission in the years 1993–1997,
- founder and President of the Association of Polish Dentists in the years 1992–2007,
- member of the Polish Dental Society,
- founding member of the Polish Society for Masticatory Organ Dysfunction,
- fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy – an International Honorary Dental Organisation since 1994 and as the secretary of the Polish Section since 2003.
The owners share not only a passion for dentistry but also for art. Doctor Klimek plays the saxophone. For many years He was a member of a group that performed at important dental events. He also collects old radios and loves reading historical books. Doctor Ciepielewska is fascinated by France; its history, culture, and impressionist paintings, particularly by Claude Monet. She owns a collection of old clocks – obviously French. Their passions are reflected in the interior of the clinic and its exceptional atmosphere.
